Tell us about your business and what makes your business unique in Memphis.
As a full-service boutique diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consulting firm, we are able to provide a high level of customer service and develop human-centered, data-informed services and solutions that are tailored to the needs of our clients. Our signature services include (1) in-person and virtual workshops and training; (2) strategy development; (3) organizational culture and climate assessments; (4) equity audits; and (5) one-on-one DEI coaching.
Every training and workshop that we offer is highly informative and engaging. Every strategic framework we develop is designed to align with organizations’ missions, values, long-term goals, and desired outcomes. We are committed to working alongside our clients at every phase of their DEI journeys.

We have multiple upcoming workshops that we are facilitating collaboration with the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South. All workshops are FREE for BBB accredited businesses. We know being a business owner comes with its own unique rewards and challenges alike. Is there anything you did to overcome any challenges you faced with your business? Are there any people you would like to recognize who have helped along the way? Inclusive Excellence Consulting was founded in December of 2021. Navigating the start-up phase was definitely a process filled with challenges and wins. We are grateful for the support we received and continue to receive from Black Business Association of Memphis, Greater Memphis Chamber, SCORE Memphis, and the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South.
Networking is everything in Memphis. What are a few black-owned businesses in Memphis that you patronize? Networking is EVERYTHING. A few of our favorite Black-owned businesses include Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies and Mahogany Memphis. We also collaborate with and contract Black-owned businesses – TJ’s Animation Workshop is one of our favorite digital marketing partners!
